Premise
The one in which a lonely, hairless dog puts on a fur coat, in the hopes of making friends. A skunk fur coat. Pepé is named with a title card, although his mailbox says “Stinky.”

Pepé: Ah, the moon! Ah, the June! Ah, the swoon! (Tarzan yell) Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah!
Pepé: Look, little one, I am ze “hard to get,” Regardez, I do not chase ze woman. I do not pursue. I do not run after. (Pause) The ruse have failed. Now I will play ze “easy to get.”
Pepé: I have relent. If you want anything, just whis-tle like this.
Pepé: Nom de plume, this I like!
